Avril Lavigne and Deryk Whibley have split up. Avril and Deryck were married three years ago in Montecito, California. They met in 2004 and were engaged by July of 2005. No sources are spilling on what may have caused the break-up and neither of their reps have confirmed the allegations that Us Weekly is printing in its most recent issue.
Sources for the couple, however, are coming out of the woodwork and saying Avril was the one who wanted out.
“She dumped him and told him she was leaving him. She wants to move on,” a source tells the new Us Weekly, adding that Lavigne, 25, forced him out of their $9.5 million, 12,000-square-foot estate in L.A.’s Bel Air. ”Divorce papers will be filed any day now.”
Poor little pocket-sized Deryck Whilby is said to be “crushed.”
Wow. Can’t wait to hear all the trash-tastic details. Who was cheating on who and with what F-list hanger-on. That kind of stuff.
