Jon Gosselin dropped from Jon & Kate Plus 8 as we reported yesterday. The show’s new name: Kate Plus 8. TLC announced yesterday that Jon will no longer be on the hit Reality TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8. The new series will even have a new name simply ”Kate Plus 8“. Oh dear who’s going to fork up the money Jon needs to go around with the women for his social life.

“Given Jon’s recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting Dad, not while all this other crap was going on,” a source close to Jon Gosselin tells People magazine. “Jon will still be seen on the show from time to time,” the source adds.
The hit TV series first debuted on April 16, 2007, and experienced a high ratings spike once the Gosselin marriage became troublesome in early 2009. Season five premiere attracted record viewers but lately the show’s ratings have been tumbling down with only 1.7 million reportedly watched the show last Monday.
What gives? Oh, perhaps we are tired of Jon and Kate or perhaps there are just sooo many other reality series around. Watch Khloe will probably be coming up with something like Khloe & Lamar: The Newly Weds.

“I regret my conduct since Kate and I separated … I used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon.” He’s filed paperwork looking to stall the divorce for 90 days “to regain control over the future of our family.”
Couldn’t Jon try to hook himself up with a new show.. something like “Jon, the single dad looking for a mate” just a thought.
