Jude Law is a father again! Jude’s one-nighter-turned-baby-mama, Samantha Burke, gave birth to a bouncing baby girl last night. We all remember the trash-tastic love story between Samantha and Jude. The two locked bleary, drunken eyes on a cold night in NYC, Jude took her to his hotel room and the rest is history. Romance.

Regardless of the fact Jude barely remembers his rendezvous with Samantha, he plans to man-up and pay child support. The baby’s name is Sophia.

“I doubt Jude was there,” says the source. “Besides the financial support, he’s not involved.” The source adds: “Samantha is doing well” after the birth. (via People.com)

Jude’s rep released the following statement when he learned of his impending addition in the summer.

“Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year,” the actor’s rep said. “Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”
