Miley Cyrus’ stalker might get federal charges. The old man who has traveled across the country to see Miley is currently facing a misdemeanor, but a judge could bump that up if he wants. Hopefully the judge will want that!

Stalkers are just not cool and should face stiffer penalties when caught. Who knows what this psycho could have done had he actually been able to get close to Miley. From the Boston Herald:
Miley Cyrus’ accused would-be stalker, Mark McLeod, may be facing stiffer charges than originally thought as his case has been transfered to a court that handles felonies. Police said McLeod, who lives about three hours from Georgia’s Tybee Island, traveled there in June and August looking for 16-year-old Cyrus as she filmed a movie. He currently faces misdemeanor charges including attempted stalking.
Luckily he never made contact with Miley personally, her security detail caught on. So, if a stalker can’t get through to Miley, how does she manage to get all of those pictures out online? Can’t her security detail catch those???
