Madonna’s brother, Christopher Ciccone, wasn’t too pleased with how Madonna looked during the MTV Video Music Awards. Madonna got on stage and gave a rather heartfelt tribute speech to Michael Jackson — who she shared an odd dinner and movie with back in 1991. Madge didn’t look out of this world great — but hey — she’s 51. We thought she rocked it.

Kermit the frog denies that he’s dating Lady GaGa. We didn’t sense too much annoyance in his answers when asked (he isn’t Jennifer Aniston, afterall) but Kermit was firm in his stance that he and the Poker Face singer are “just friends.” He did admit that Miss Piggy got a little jealous, which we don’t get. Lady GaGa has absolutely nothing on Miss Piggy.

Lindsay Lohan attended G-Star’s fashion show and acted like a true Long Island diva. Somehow Lindsay finagled herself an invite (probably because of little indiscretions like these that bring press) but refused to stop for pictures and instead rushed through the press line. Fair enough. Lindsay practically has a camera in her face every minute of every day, so we don’t hate her for that.
But then Linds decided her assigned seat wasn’t good enough for her and partier-in-crime Ali Lohan. According to Page Six:
Avril Lavigne and Deryk Whibley have split up. Avril and Deryck were married three years ago in Montecito, California. They met in 2004 and were engaged by July of 2005. No sources are spilling on what may have caused the break-up and neither of their reps have confirmed the allegations that Us Weekly is printing in its most recent issue.
Sources for the couple, however, are coming out of the woodwork and saying Avril was the one who wanted out.
Kendra Wilkinson’s husband Hank Baskett was fired for Michael Vick. Ironic, huh? A dog lover (Baskett) was let go from the Philadelphia Eagles to make room on the roster for a dog fighter (Vick). Baskett has not been picked up by another team yet.

Katie Price begged Peter Andre for another chance. And this was only weeks ago, not months ago when they first announced their impending divorce. Peter supposedly has proof even though Katie is denying it.

Katie took up with fighter Alex Reid soon after their split, so it’s hard to see her begging to reconcile. Of course, stranger things have happened with these two in the past, so why should I be surprised now? From the Daily Mirror:
