Sex junkie Russell Brand was heading for the record as he clocked up three months bedding just one girl, his model ex-girlfriend Christy Peterson, 22. But Brand slipped back into his old habits sending Christy out shopping with his mom while he had a steamy threesome with a fan and a stripper.

Christy was devastated, especially when Russell who hosted the MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday - insisted on giving her a blow-by-blow account of the orgy.

“Russell gave me [Christy] three options – leave, join in or turn a blind eye. Stupidly I went for No.3, which pretty much doomed our relationship.”

Christy revealed to a friend: “Russell told me he loved me but he needed to have other women to remain sane.”He said it was a chemical imbalance in his brain – it was like a handicapped person needing a wheelchair.”
