Sparrow James Midnight Madden. WTH kind of name is that? I know stars like to pick unique (read weird) names for their kids, but, now we’re in to animals? Nicole should have picked Raven or some masculine sounding bird name.

Nicole and Joel picked an interesting combination. Sparrow reminds me of birds and Johnny Depp! From US Weekly:

“In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden,” she announced on her website Wednesday. “He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow [their 19-month-old daughter] and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.”

Congratulations! I wonder when the first pictures of him will be released. I can’t imagine Joel and Nicole would produce anything less than adorable.
