Taylor Swift will perform on the MTV Awards next week. The little country singing gal has done some big gigs lately, with Def Leppard and T Pain, proving country girls are talented. Taylor is up for an award herself next weekend.

Taylor has had quite a year. From a second hit album, to breaking Joe Jonas’ heart to meeting Katy Perry, things can’t get much better. From the Examiner:
Taylor Swift will perform on the Sept. 13 MTV Music Awards show, she announced late Sunday morning in an email to fans.
She did not say which song she will perform, but she is nominated for Best Female Video for You Belong with Me.
Taylor, 19, has produced two No. 1 albums and is on a sold-out tour of the United States.
Taylor was nominated for the MTV Music Video Award for Best New Artist in 2008.
