Alex Rodriguez is so vain he has himself in centaur-form hanging over his bed. Ha! This is rich! Now, in all honesty, it would probably be more surprising if A-Rod didn‘t have a healthy dose of vanity, but inserting your head on top of a mythical creature takes good-old fashioned egotism to an interesting level.

One of A-Rod’s former lovers told usmagazine.com (via NYDaily News):

“He was so vain. He had not one, but two painted portraits of himself as a centaur. You know, the half man, half horse figure,” scoffs an ex-girlfriend to the magazine. “It was ridiculous.”

This is probably why things didn’t work out between he and Madge. The aforementioned bed was no where near big enough for both their egos.
