Beyonce Stands Up For Kanye West
Beyonce sort of defended Kanye West and his VMA antics. She told O magazine that Kanye was “standing up for art.” Yeah. Oooookay, Bey. (eye roll) As everyone with a pulse knows, when Taylor Swift was announced winner of Best Female Video, Kanye very famously bum rushed the stage, grabbed the mike from Swift and declared that Beyonce should’ve won.

She told the magazine (via usmagazine.com):
“Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he’s like, ‘You have this award.’ “When they didn’t call my name, he was, like, completely shocked,” Knowles says. “And when he walked on the stage, I was like, ‘No, no, no!’ and then he spoke, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, no, no!’”
Well, the slight sting that tarnished Beyonce‘s ego we’re sure has been shined. She was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year.
