Cheryl Cole trusts her dogs over her husband Ashley Cole.  Cheryl, the gorgeous X-Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer said her scepticism was a means of self-protection and said she did not believe marriages were meant to be perfect. Can’t blame her after her husband, Ashley had allegedly cheated on her.

‘I think marriages are something you have to work at,’  ‘Marriages are not rose-petalled paths that you skip down, they were never intended to be.
‘It’s not supposed to be easy, it’s not supposed to be perfect.’

Cheryl, 26 admitted that she found it very difficult to trust people including her soccer star husband Ashley Cole.
‘I don’t trust anybody,’ she tells Elle magazine.

Asked whether there was really no one in her life that she trusted, Cheryl said:

 ‘My mum. And my Dad. They’re my parents. But you always hold that 20 per cent back for yourself.’ ‘I think it’s key. I think it’s key for your own sanity. You’ve got to protect yourself.’

In a separate interview with the Sunday Times magazine, Cheryl says:

‘I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t trust anybody in my life except my mother and my dogs.’

Ashley, 28 has allegedly cheated on Cheryl with hairdresser Aimee Walton and Scottish model Brooke Healy. The two women both claimed the soccer star slept with them behind his wife’s back. – via Daily Mail
