Emma Watson was stalked while watching a football game at Harvard. Emma is attending Brown University and to her shock, the Harvard student body went nutso when they heard she’d be in the bleachers. Hey — aren’t they supposed to be, like, super brainy kids? Shouldn’t the Harvard student body be above all this?

Apparently not. Page Six reported this morning that everyone’s Twitter was going bat crazy at spottings of Emma.
…her discomfort was actually the result of a targeted campaign by the Harvard Voice student magazine to draw as much attention to her as possible. Before the game, a blog post on the mag’s Web site said: “We will be Live-Tweetin’ the game and possibly stalking Emma Watson, so keep your eyes peeled for that, too!” A succession of tweets posted on the Voice’s Twitter account during the game followed, including, “Let’s go Hermione! Lolz,” a reference to Watson‘s character in “Harry Potter.” It went on, “In enemy territory. Lookin for a certain witch,” and, “WATSON FOUND. i repeat WATSON FOUND.”
Of course, once they snapped a picture of Watson and she caught wind of this, the editors of The Harvard Voice said it as all blown out of proportion and the kids were just being ironic.
Uh huh. Sure.
