Falcon Heene,”The Balloon Boy” drama was it a publicity stunt? The world was all worked up worrying death for this poor Falcon, the 6-year-old whom we thought flown up helplessly on a home-made hot air balloon. Falcon was found safe at home allegedly hidding in an attic in the family’s garage for two hours. But get this.. he said “We did this for the show” (Watch Videos below)

At one point Falcon, said he did not come out when his parents called for him because “You guys said that … we did this for the show“. So busted! Never tell a 6-year-old to lie! The dad, Richard Heene has been on the defensive over accusations that he staged the whole balloon hoax for publicity. Did he or did he not?

During a subsequent interview with CNN, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Richard Heene what his son had meant by “You guys said that.. we did it for the show”

Dadddy Heene replied:

“I can see the direction you guys are hedging on this,”"I’m kind of appalled after all the feelings that I went through …that you guys are trying to suggest something else.” – via Telegraph News

The family’s been on Wife Swap twice, the kids have a rap video on You Tube. Methinks the whole thing is a publicity stunt. Poor kids! I hope I am wrong for the sake of their kids. What do you think? Was it a publicity stunt?
