Fergie used to do meth. Yes, everyone who has ever read an interview with Fergie in the past 10 years knows that after a successful run as a child performer, the singer downward spiraled into a dangerous meth addiction. In the same vain as Drew Barrymore‘s child alcoholism, this seems to be a story that just won’t die. And why? Because Fergie keeps talking about it. It’s like she’s a walking After School Special.

Popeater picked up on another one of Fergie‘s Meth Horror Tales, this time culled from The Sunday Times:
“It started with ecstasy. I loved ecstasy. Loved it, loved it. It was great at first, then it just went …” crashing down.
As for crystal meth: “It ruins you.” All the while during her lost year, Fergie developed an obsession with Hispanic “Cholo” gang members…Oh yeah. It was very alluring, very romantic. Well, I romanticized it. I thought it was artistic.” And the men? “I still think gangsters are cute.”
Got that? Fergie did a bunch of crystal meth and thought a Hispanic gangsta lifestyle was romantic. Hope you aren’t sick of it yet, because you are likely to hear that story again. And again. And probably a few more times after that, too.
