Gosselin’s nanny said Jon Gosselin lied: The Gosselin kids love filming their reality TV show. Stephanie Santoro, the Gosseli’s ex-nanny had intimate access to the Gosselin family while she was their nanny and Jon’s lover so she shares her insights with Radar Online.
As reports by Radarline: “I personally have been there when they taped,” Stephanie said. “They have a ball with it and they love it,” she said about the children, despite the fact that Jon has been saying that they are unhappy shooting Jon & Kate Plus 8.
On Jon wanting to get the kids off TV:
“He spoke to me so many times about how he knows the kids had so many more life experiences because of the show.”
On their divorce and effect on the Gosselin kids:
Their parents’ very public divorce has taken a toll on the children, especially the older twins. “Cara actually broke down and cried a lot,” Stephanie said about her times watching the Gosselin children. “She didn’t understand what was going on; she didn’t know who was to blame for it.” The children have not been dealing that well with the divorce, and Stephanie said that the situation was confusing for them and that “They would ask why mommy and daddy couldn’t be there together.”
On Jon on a monstrous power trip:
Why Jon is acting out so much is a question that Kate must ask herself everyday, but Stephanie had a blunt reasoning behind his bitter actions towards his estranged wife. “I think he is on a monstrous power trip,” “All he wants is control,” she said, “Including Kate.”
I think what Stephanie is telling Radar Online has a lot of credibility even someone like me who’s never met Jon personally could figure that out. I just hope they do what’s best for the kids, that’s all.

The media always does this… picks a fall guy and then goes in for the kill. Who cares about this show? These kids do not need to be filmed for our entertainment. And why would children cry because they arn’t being filmed something is wrong with that!
I do not believe her. She is supposedly his ex-lover, so she has a bone to pick and yes the kids liked taping the show when their parents were together and the whole world wasn’t attacking either their mother or father. These children are all in school and we all know how cruel children can be to other children. When we are kids we want to be the same not different, being on TV puts a target on these kids. Let them be now. Love him or hate him, he is actually thinking of his children first.
About time someone speaks truth about John and Kate. All you have to do is look at Jon’s face. The pure glee and joy that he can do what ever he wants anytime he wants. He should have thought about the committment he made when the 6 babies were born. Life doesn’t get any better then holding your child and loving your spouse. Instead of maturing in their marriage, Jon totally bailed out. LIfe is tough buddy, you learn to deal with it, pray about it, coounsel about it. Instead you threw it all away. Just so you can have physical enjoyment, money (which by the way is drying up) and control. I believe he is the controller and the kids are his puppets. One day you will reap the consequences of your actions, and I pray your kids are brought up strong by one of you, otherwise you will lose them in the end.
The guy is a humongous douchebag. I have zero respect for him.
