John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston are back together. Oh — the saga continues. Sigh. Isn’t Jen a bit old to be playing these silly, silly, silly games? Why doesn’t John dip into the Hollywood fish bowl and pick out someone a little more appropriate. We were thrilled about the Kristen Cavallari rumors. Seemed like a match made in douche heaven.

It’s not the first time Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have reunited after a split, but the couple are simply “enjoying their friendship,” says a source close to the singer. “They’ve been talking for a while – they’re very friendly. Adds another source, “They’ve remained close.”
John and Jen recently spent a night together late last month City’s Bowery Hotel. Ugh. Can we ship these two off to the same island where we’ll stash the Gosselins?
