John was spotted on a romantic date with Rashida Jones Friday night at the Chateau Marmont. The pair was having dinner in a secluded area and John took the guitar from a performer and did an impromptu performance for his date, Rashida at the Chateau.

The audience “went wild when he performed his new song,” Mayer even played his hit “Your Body is a Wonderland” for his date, Rashida.

John and Rashida left together in the wee hours!

I guess his new song would be “Who Says”
