The designer said the only people who are against slender models are overweight mothers.

Karl tell Focus magazine: “These are fat mummies sitting with their bags of crisps in front of the television, saying that thin models are ugly. The creative director of Chanel went on to add that readers crave fantasy, and that fashion was all about Fashion is all about “dreams and illusions, and no one wants to see round women.” – via Parent Dish

I personally think in a way, the world is obsessed with women having to be skinny skinny. But then again, I don’t want to be fat myself. But come on from any perspective, I can’t see Heidi Klum as being even romotely heavy, can you?

Should we have more curvy models? What do you think? Or perhaps we should have both?

Karl must be getting dementia in his old age. He should just keep quit and stare at pretty boy Baptiste and drool. Besides, it occurs to me Karl himself was overweight not that many years ago.
