Katie Price is rejected by the Ministry of Defense Department. That’s the UK’s version of the Defense Department and meaning, Katie can’t visit the troops. Katie had applied or said she would visit the war torn country of Afghanistan as a way to boost morale for the troops…but it ain’t gonna happen.

It isn’t going to happen because top level military officials denied Katie’s ‘tacky’ request. From Digitial Spy:
army bosses were concerned that she would use the trip as a “shameless publicity stunt to help flog her merchandise”.
“Her bid was considered like all the others the MoD gets from celebrities,” said a source. “But they weren’t happy about this one. They looked at her lifestyle and felt her current image was not something they wanted to be involved with. She never really stood a chance. Let’s just say it was all thought to be a bit too tacky.”
Someone realizes the work Katie does is tacky! Imagine that. They must have seen her and her boyfriend dress like trannies for a book signing last week and decided that nonsense wasn’t for the troops. Good for them.
