Natalie Portman rants about her veganism. While Natalie’s choice to refrain from eating meat is fine, she bashes people who chose to eat meat. The essay she writes about it and her conversion has people up in arms! Natalie associates eating meat with a horrible crime!

Natalie writes an essay for The Huffington Post and talking about the author of Eating Animals, which is the book that made her a convert:

He posits that consideration, as promoted by Michael Pollan in The Omnivore’s Dilemma, which has more to do with being polite to your tablemates than sticking to your own ideals, would be absurd if applied to any other belief (e.g., I don’t believe in rape, but if it’s what it takes to please my dinner hosts, then so be it).”

Eating meat equals rape? I don’t think it goes that far, but whatever. Natalie can believe what she wants and I’ll go have a burger… Many other stars are vegetarians and vegans, but they aren’t ranting about it, wanting people to change. To each their own!
