Imagine how other countries would celebrate the same. For sure, not other single person could have done as much as Obama to lower the temperature of contentiousness in world affairs. With Obama's presidency, one can at least find hope for progress toward peace. His smiling face had put a new and much-improved stamp on the image of the U.S. It's also provoked a head count of American bigots, cynics, militarists, imperialists, and hate mongers. They have risen like Nazi storm troopers. Given the thankless and unpatriotic response to America’s president being chosen for such honor, no American may ever be chosen again. Imagine how other countries would celebrate the same.
