Steve Phillips, the ousted ESPN commenter, has entered sex addiction rehab. Steve Phillips was caught bedding his 22-year-old assistant, Brooke Hundley, in August and was given a week suspension. In the past weeks, Brooke acted erratically — calling Steve’s wife Marni, taunting his son on Facebook, which renewed the media’s interest in the story.

It was announced yesterday that Steve entered a sex addiction rehab facility and that Brooke was fired. Steve’s wife filed for divorce on September 14th.

According to The New York Daily News, Steve and Brooke only enjoyed three torrid nights of (probably mediocre hotel room) sex. Now both are out of a job and one is out of a marriage. Bravo!

Yet, ESPN was probably smart to let him go. Phillips admitted to seducing another one of his employees back in 1998.
