Tom Cruise is judgmental about Katie Holmes clothing. Katie opened up to Marie Claire’s November issue about Tom’s problems with her wardrobe choices. We’ll admit — Katie is famously hit or miss, but we never think Tom Cruise really looks extraordinary either.

Katie told the magazine Tom often has some problems with her dress choices (via Elle.com):

“He usually likes everything, but sometimes I’ll walk out and he’ll say, ‘I think that dress might be wearing you. You don’t need that.’ Tom has great taste.”

As far as her family is concerned, she said this:

“In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. I do what I need to do, but it’s like, ‘How is everybody else doing?’ And it’s wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character.”
