Adam Lambert is NOT at all sorry for his racy AMA performance. Lambert has come under fire for simulating oral sex on stage with his dancers and making out with his keyboardist. While the performance wasn’t Crazy Town inappropriate, it was a tad sexier then any of the other performances. We think its much ado about nothing and Lambert agrees.

more Lambert after the hop…
In fact, Lambert says he’s an artist expressing himself and the smooch/faux-over-pants-BJ happened “in the moment.” (via usmagazine.com)
“You know honestly, if I offended some people… it’s apples and oranges. I’m not an artist that does things for every single person,” he told Access Hollywood. “I believe in artistic freedom and expression, I believe in honoring the lyrics of a song, and those lyrics aren’t really for everybody either.”
Oh my.
“There’s a big double standard, female pop artists have been doing things provocative like that for years, and the fact that I’m a male, and I’ll be edited and discriminated against could be a problem,” he explained. “People are scared and it’s really sad, I just wish people could open their minds up and enjoy things, it’s all for a laugh, it’s really not that big of a deal.”
While we agree with Lambert on the whole — its about doing something (without actually doing it) that makes one ultra-sexy. Otherwise, you’re just kind of tacky.
