Brad Pitt’s New Beard And Why
Brad Pitt has been sporting a rather mangy-looking, dirty beard as of late. Pitt, who has been known for his Midwestern good looks, has been looking less tanned, chiseled and All-American recently. In fact, we see beard ponytails at the end of his scraggled chin mane. Check it out! But why would Brad want to let himself go? All the children? Not on the meat market?

“Alan Peterkin, psychiatrist and author of One Thousand Beards: A Cultural History of Facial Hair. Peterkin tells Usmagazine.com that a beard allows a man “to change his public face. Most men growing facial hair around his age are being ironic. It’s a bit of a wink of the eye; ‘I’m not taking this too seriously and nor should you.’
It gets even deeper. Peterkin also says Pitt might be sick of being one half of the world’s most glamorous couple and is trying on ugly for size.
