Kate Gosselin was interviewed for a one-hour TLC special Kate’s Story and (not surprisingly) broke down in front of the cameras. Poor Kate Gosselin seems to be a genuine mess after watching her marriage and family run through the tabloid blender. During the interview, she said she misses the old Jon and that she feels badly for being so critical of him while they were married.

Kate also addressed some rumors (via RadarOnline.com). She vehemently denies ever sleeping with the bodyguard, insists the divorce was mutual after a series of factors that deteriorated the marriage, is bitter about Hailey Glassman, and looks back at Jon and Kate Plus 8 with fondness.
In fact, the long-suffering mother says she in many ways still loves Jon.
“A part of me always will. It’s hard to be married to somebody for 10 years and try to say, No I don’t love them anymore.”

I could really empathize with Kate when she said she wished for the old Jon to come back and that she misses the good times she had with him and their family. People change though, and she has to realize that she can’t control him. He is his own person.
