Kevin Spacey got a waiter fired for doing the right thing. Kevin was dining with friends when they decided to light up cigars – which is illegal in Rhode Island, where they were dining. The waiter, who was told by his boss to inform them of the no smoking rule, was then treated rudely by Kevin and friends.

Kevin got mad at the waiter, who then reported to his boss. The boss then turned on said waiter and said my boss is going to be mad at you. From Popeater:

the Oscar-winning actor wasn’t amused and allegedly exploded in anger. “I need you to get the f*** away from my table,” Spacey said.

Turner told his boss about the incident and was told “If the owner knew you pissed off Kevin Spacey, he’d have me fire you.”

Three days later, Turner was “laid-off” from his job, but a replacement was hired for his position. The lay off has been a huge financial strain for Turner, who is working part-time as a caterer. “I was banking on making somewhere between $12,000 and $18,000. That’s basically what I am out because someone thought that they were more privileged than anyone else,” he said.

What a jerk! Kevin has shown he is a diva in many ways, but this takes the cake. I hope he does something to fix the situation he caused!
