Adam Lambert gets booted from ABC once again. Lambert – who’s life will never be the same after kissing his keyboardist on stage — has been let go from his performing duties on New Years Eve with Dick Clarke and a Jimmy Kimmel performance. Good God, we find Lady GaGa’s theatrics to be every bit as disturbing as a silly, platonic lip lock amongst two men.

Regardless, Lambert (as The Huffington Post reports) seems to be in good spirits. He tweeted on Wednesday:
“Yes, sadly friends, ABC has cancelled my appearances on Kimmel and NYE. :( don’t blame them. It’s the FCC heat.
I AM doing Leno though. And lookin into something for NYE.It’ll all blow over. Let’s focus on being positive! :)
Bravo to Lambert for not caving and unleashing his bitch claws. A certain Kanye West could learn a thing or two from this.

Don’t mistake a simple kiss with his male keyboardist as the reason for these actions by ABC.
I rooted for Adam on AI and was disappointed when he came in second. However, the kiss was minor compared to the simulated oral sex with a male dancers head Adam pulled into his crotch, the simulated sex with a female dancer, his hip thrusting against her leg, etc.
Adam went way overboard here. People say, “if you don’t like it turn the channel”, or “kids shouldn’t have been up at that hour”. A lot of those kids voted over and over for him on AI and who could/would expect him to do the sexual things he did. Were we all supposed to have had a reomte in our hands because he might grab a guys face & thrust his crotch against it? Get real. He wouldn’t have gotten where he did with his more demure and mild performances on AI.
Perhaps he’ll learn if he wants to do that, do it in a private venue, if he wants to get cancelled and/or fined at a later date, keep doing it on tv (if he gets a chance to appear on tv again) and watch him get the same treatment Kanye got.
I’m so tired of hearing it was just “THE KISS”. I’m gay and even I found the rest of his routine a little strong for tv. He says he just got “caught up in the moment”. Well a LOT of people got caught up and wern’t impressed. That’s a good way to start off a career.
