Adam Lambert Used to be FAT
Adam Lambert used to be FAT. Adam uses his former weight as an excuse for his recent performance on the AMAs. Well, not an excuse, but a reason why he let it get so risque. Are you buying it?

Adam says he used to weigh 250 pounds in high school, which was only a few years away for him. He says he was acting out and using his new confidence from being thin. From Popeater:
“I suffered from a little bit of an ugly duckling complex in my early twenties. When I was in high school I was 250 pounds and that creates some stuff…some body image stuff, some confidence issues and I got a lot of my confidence from the validation I got as a performer,” Lambert said.
I guess maybe he has a point there. Then an expert goes on to say:
“It’s common for kids who were made fun of for their weight to act out in that way. When you are developing your identity during those important years your self image and physical appearance are who you are,” explains psychologist Cooper Lawrence, author of “The Cult of Celebrity.”
Hmmmm, is this a convenient excuse to get Adam some leeway with what he did? Will he get booked on GMA now since he was a fattie turned hottie?
