Brittany Murphy was laid to rest at sunset. Brittany’s funeral was attended by just very close family and friends last night. The service was in the afternoon and Brittany was laid to rest just as the sun was setting in the cemetery.

There is still no official word on what caused Brittany’s death. Her family is devastated and hoping to find some closure with answers soon. From Popeater:
Brittany Murphy was laid to rest on Christmas Eve, with only a small group of her family and friends attending the funeral service in Los Angeles. Radar Online reports that 25 mourners attended the ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
That’s so sad. RIP Brittany.
