Courtney Love lost custody of her one daughter, 17-year-old Frances Bean. Courtney has had a very, very tumultuous life, just brimming of outbursts and crazy antics since the death (and let’s be real, even before) of the late Kurt Cobain. Well, it appears a judge has once again (Courtney lost custody of Frances in 2003, too) lost custody of her daughter.

TMZ.com obtained the court documents that state Frances Bean will be turned over to her paternal grandmother, Wendy O’Connor and Kurt‘s sister, Kimberly Dawn Cobain.
Through her lawyer, Courtney released this statement:
“Courtney wants to say she loves her daughter and she’s the most important thing in her life.” As for the guardianship, Fink says Courtney knows her grandma will take care of Frances Bean.”
