Frances Bean might have been a domestic abuse case. Frances was recently granted a restraining order against her mother, Courtney Love. Unusual? Yes. But now we might have a reason as to why she had a restraining order and went to live with Grandma.

Frances seems more mature than her mother, who obviously has some issues to work out. Courtneyrants on MySpace against the order, even though a judge has moved to seal the documents. From MTV:
The nature and the instigator of the alleged domestic violence are not mentioned in the papers. Lovewas stripped of legal guardianship of Frances Bean on December 11, and a judge later issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting Love from having contact with her only child with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. No reason was given at the time for the issuance of the order, which prohibits Love from “certain behavior and from coming within a certain distance of Frances and her guardians.”
That’s sad for Frances. Luckily, she has grandparents that seem normal and can keep her on the straight and narrow. Good luck Frances!
