George Clooney went on a date with Madonna after she split from Guy Ritchie. Oh, wow. Now that’s two we’d never even put in the same room, let alone the same bed! However, judging from reports it isn’t certain the whole “bed” part happened. Afterall, it was only one date and according to sources close to Clooney he had a terrible time.

Clooney‘s friends say the actor was disappointed because Madonna insisted on making bad jokes throughout the date and had no interest in discussing, say, Darfur with the actor.
“He figured she is a smart, accomplished woman so why not give it a try?” a source said. “They went out for dinner in New York, but it turned out really bad. She kept trying to make jokes that weren’t at all funny the entire time and didn’t want to have a real conversation. He could not wait to get out of there.”
Oh, yes. Because Clooney‘s normal dating roster of Las Vegas cocktail waitresses we’re sure keep the conversation lively.
