Jennifer Aniston was so pissed at the paparazzi that she was the “driving force” behind a new California state law limiting the shutterbugs and gifting them more penalties. Jennifer Aniston has (probably) single-handedly put several paparazzi photographer’s kids through college with her John Mayer coffee jaunts and post-Pitt Vince Vaughn canoodlings.

Which makes the suit particularly apt. As contactmusic.com reports, Aniston was “instrumental” in the bill’s success. She is quotes as saying:
“There have to be some boundaries. When you have children in the car and the photographers are rushing you, it’s just absolutely out of control. It’s become a public safety issue. Somebody’s going to die if we don’t do something.”
The bill officially becomes law on January 1, 2010.
