Jon Gosselin was barred from making any Super Bowl commercials by TLC. Jon supposedly was asked by two different corporations to star in their commercial spots specifically designed for him, but alas, we were saved TLC said no.

Jon goes to court next week for the preliminary work on his breach of contract lawsuit. His lawyer – of course – claims TLC is in the wrong. He also says via E! Online:
“Two different entities sought to solicit his services [for Super Bowl ad spots], but in my view, they were scared of TLC,” says attorney Mark Heller. “In my view, it was a mean-spirited act on [TLC’s] part.”
Heller wouldn’t say exactly what the network did to ruin Gosselin’s dreams or which companies sought his, er, talents. A rep for TLC declined to comment.
Maybe Jon would poke fun of himself, the way Kevin Federline did after his split with Britney Spears. It might have been entertaining. Do you think TLC was right to bar him from making commercials?
