Lindsay Lohan sends misleading tweets from India. Actually, it only sounds like they were misleading if you actually knew what Lindsay was doing in India. If you didn’t know what she was doing, you’d probably believe everything she tweeted!

Lindsay tried to make it sound like her humanitarian trip to India had her directly involved with the rescue of 40 children. But according to the NY Daily News:
After allegedly travelling to India to make a BBC documentary about child trafficking, Lindsay Lohan posted a message on Twitter claiming she helped rescue 40 child workers in one day, London’s Telegraph reports.
But social activist and lawyer Bhuwan says, according to the charity that planned the New Delhi raid, neither Lohan nor the British Broadcasting Corporation were present at the time of the rescue.
“She was not even in the country when this raid happened,” Bhuwan told the Telegraph.
Ooops. I hate it when you try and claim something and it happened before you even arrived in the country! Lindsay is already back in LA, so we’ll see what she has to say now.
