Miley Cyrus’ tattoo is explained! We just noticed on Friday that the underage Miley had some ink under her breast that said Just Breathe. Now we know why she had that phrase and what exactly it means. Did you guess as to what it could mean? Check to see if you were right?

Miley’s tattoo is in honor of her friend that died from Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a disease that eventually effects the lungs and your ability to breathe. According to Gossip Fa Sho:

The phrase “Just Breathe” is the motto of the Cystic Fibrosis foundation (thanks @twinkletoesmile)
Miley also has “Just Breathe” On the neck of one of her guitars.
That’s a sweet sentiment for Miley to have. It also brings awareness to the Cystic Fibrosis cause. Good for you Miley!
