Tiger Woods made a deal with the tabloid to keep his affair with Mindy Lawton out of the news back in 2007. If this allegation is true, Tiger’s alleged extramarital affair(s) would have been exposed long before today.

As we reported that Mindy Lawton is the fifth alleged mistress of Tiger (Click here to read the story). According to Daily Mail:
Every move of that alfresco (Tiger Woods awaiting Mindy Lawton outside her diner) encounter was recorded by a surveillance team of reporters and photographers from one of America’s biggest-selling tabloid magazines. It was a scoop – the first example of what we now know to be a pattern of infidelity on Tiger’s part.
Tiger allegedly struck a deal with the tabloid magazine. In return for burying the story of Tiger’s affair, he would give an exclusive cover interview to Men’s Fitness owned by the same company as the tabloid.
According to Daily Mail’s investigation, when ‘Team Tiger’ discovered that the tabloid magazine not only had blurry pictures of him and Mindy in the car park but evidence of the consummation, they went into a panic. Then they went to work. The answer was press the magazine’s publisher to withhold the story in return for Tiger appearing on the August 2007 cover of its stablemate publication, Men’s Fitness.
And so Tiger, who regularly declines interviews on the grounds that he is a ‘private’ person, struck beefcake-style poses and gave tips on diet, exercise and weightlifting.
Hmmm. I don’t know what to think anymore…

Wow. I can’t say I am surprised. THIS could effect his sponsors. 1 affair swept under the rug by Tiger and p.r. people, he could have weathered. This? She will divorce him and take A LOT of money with her. Watch. He will have to give her extra $$’s to not write tell-all, make appearances on “The View” , Oprah, etc. (I bet Oprahs peeps are on double time right now) IF Tiger were smart and he isn’t, he would use Oprah’s show as a venue to say “I was an ass, made poor choices am in therapy and am now a changed man.” end of scandal. Nope he will try to buy his way out of this and he will be very lucky to have anything left because these other women? Gloria Allred probably has a class action law suit. I’m tellin you. If I were Gloria Allred, I would COUNT on retiring on Tiger Woods $$’s.
