Angelina Jolie was fired from her St. John modeling gig. Angelina was the face of the clothing line in 2005 and signed a three-year contract to pout and pose wearing the brand, even when shot by the paparazzi on her own time. While everything appeared to be going swimmingly, the clothing line decided not to renew her contract.

While some said this was due to lackluster sales and the controversy surrounding her and Brad Pitt, Women’s Wear Daily reported today that the line just wanted less of a well-known household name.
“[Jolie] overshadowed the brand,” said chief executive officer Glenn McMahon. “We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette.”
To McMahon “cleaning the palette” means hiring flame-haired model, Karen Elson. Karen Elson is married to White Stripes frontman, Jack White.

St. John is stupid for letting go one of the hottest and most glamorous woman in the world. Who can say elegant more than AJ. To be honest, none of thier past or future models can compare to AJ. Look thru their ads and compare.
For all those people who do not like Angie and/or Brad here is a something to consider if you really want to feel vindicated though they have nothing to do with you. BOYCOTT anything that has their picture on it.
