Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are skipping the Golden Globes this weekend. Even though Brad is nominated as an ensemble for the movie Inglorious Basterds, he is opting out of the red carpet and the hoopla. Maybe because Jennifer Aniston is a presenter?

Brad and Angelina have said they are over the whole Hollywood business. Is this their way of proving it? According to the USA Today:
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not going to the Golden Globes. They won’t be on the red carpet.
Who’s the source on this? Angie’s stylist, Jen Rade, who told E!: “They’re not going because he’s not nominated individually,” she said. “Inglourious Basterds is, but not him.”
Brad’s manager confirmed this morning that he won’t attend.
Is it really a big deal when two actors don’t show up? Brad and Angie are probably rolling their eyes at the hoopla NOT attending is causing!

I’m a little disappointed cuz I love seeing what Angie will be wearing but can understand. Hopefully Angie will get recognized and nominated for Salt and some of her other upcoming projects this year.
Disappointing. The globes would have been so much more dramatic had pitt and jolie showed up. However, i can understand why Jolie would opt out. The last time Jen was a presenter, she totally blew jolie out of the water with her simplicity. She was gorgeous and sweet. Fab hairstyle. Angie looked like a Heidi Kleiss employee by comparison. This time jen amped up the look and deepened the voice. Jen looked sexy and spoke like somebody that might interest angie….in a way that she might interest Ellen or Rosey…
