Does Tila Tequila have secret service? No. Tila was caught leaving her house surrounded by armed security guards yesterday and when asked about it, her answer was humorous. Her answer also indicates what Tila likes best…attention.

Tila made it sound like the government was providing the security. Not so, but this is what she said via Radar:
“I’ve been given a secret service escort for protection,” Tila said in an exclusive interview. “There have been a number of threats made against me since the death of Casey Johnson – and the interviews I subsequently made – and the threats were deemed credible enough to assign me protection.
“I’m not scared at all, and not worried for my safety in the slightest, but the police are so they want to protect me and keep me safe even though I think everything is fine.
“Whenever I leave the house now I have armed agents protecting me and I am driven around in a bullet proof vehicle. I’m being given the same level of protection as they give to the president, top politicians and other notable high profile figures.
The same as the president or other notables figures? Puhlease. When one of the “secret service” agents was asked about it, he said who his employer was:
revealed he works for, not the government or the Los Angeles police force, but a privately owned security company called Police Body Guard.
According to their website they are a company owned by “US Veterans” and they supply protective services to a number of high profile celebrity clients, including Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Keanu Reeves, Jack Nicholson and Paris Hilton.
So, someone is beating Tila at her own game. Step in to cover her and get some free PR in the process. Brilliant.
