Jake Gyllenhaal is trying to win Reese Witherspoon back. Supposedly it was Reese who dumped Jake because he was ready to get married and she was not. Jake isn’t taking no for an answer, it seems.

According to an insider, Reese cooled the romance when she realized she wasn’t ready to take it to the next level — marriage — but now Jake is trying hard to win her back. Not only did Jake send Reese a $75,000 Christmas present — vintage dinnerware from France for her home in Ojai, Calif. — he’s also sent e-mails and flowers. “He isn’t giving up without a fight,” a friend adds.
She could do a lot worse than Jake. He doesn’t seem to want to party. Jake doesn’t have a drug reputation. He likes her kids. What’s the problem?

I cannot understand why he likes Reese so much. Jake is so gorgeous, young, smart, decent man and with sense of humour. He can truly get someone prettier than Reese. someone single and no kids. come on! there’s plenty of nice sheilas in hollywood!
