Jessica Biel started climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro for a cause. Jessica and several other actors and musicians are raising awareness about the conditions of global water. Other people on the trek include Emile Hirsch and Isabel Lucas (Transformers 2).

I wonder why Justin Timberlake didn’t want to raise awareness? From Parade Magazine:
The group will be joined by a panel of scientists and thinkers who’ve been working on bringing clean water to developing nations around the world. Their climb will be chronicled in a 90-minute documentary set to air March 14 at 9 p.m. on MTV.
For the next seven days, Biel and the other participants will make their way along a 50-mile route to the 19,340-foot peak of the mountain, a journey that will be updated on SummitOnTheSummit.com with tweets, photos and video blogs.
I think it is a great idea. Their journey will be caught for a ninety minute documentary to air on the Discovery Channel in March. Way to go Jessica!
