Katy Perry is officially not pregnant. How do we know? Well, twitter of course! How else do we learn anything these days? Katy shot back to pregnancy rumor mongers saying she was on her period. Awesome! Yes, no matter who you are or what you’re doing right now, it’s nice to know that Katy Perry is likely stocking up on tampons and feeling bloated.

Perry‘s TMI moment is the result of some big-time speculation that she and fiance Russell Brand are expecting their first child. And why did we think that? Twitter, of course! Perry leaked some clues saying 2010 would be “BUMPIN” which made us all assume the singer would have a swelled stomach come spring.
Perry wrote this morning:
“@thedoctoluke ur gonna make me cry, maybe that’s my period tho. THAT’S RIGHT I’M BLEEDING. Face. Better luck next month peepz.”
