Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are new BFFs. Kristen and Dakota were both in the Twilight series, but they also share the spotlight in the upcoming biopic Runaways, about Joan Jett.

Dakota was interviewed about the pairing and says their friendship helped make the movie a success. From Just Jared Jr:
Dakota, 15, chatted with the L.A. Times about taking on the role of Cherie Currie, performing on stage and the real-life bond between her and Kristen. Check it:
On her friendship with Kristen: “You can probably tell we get along really well. For the characters, it’s really important that bond is portrayed. And we have that in real life.”
I think Dakota can have a lot of success in the future if she keeps her head on like she is now. Keep up the good work Kristen and Dakota!
