Lindsay Lohan is now accused of stealing designs. Wait — wasn’t it just yesterday that LiLo was proclaiming through the streets that her beloved friend and stylist “Pootie” was a thief? I can’t keep up. It’s like a particularly twisty plot-line on a poorly written soap opera.

Women’s Wear Daily reported today that Lindsay‘s leggings bear a striking resemblance to Lillis, designer of Black Milk Clothing, and his own brand of tights. Something about the diamond shapes being similar. Another designer, Jen Kao, says one of Lindsay‘s dresses looks almost identical to one of hers. She told WWD:
“While we are all well aware that being ‘mimicked’ or ‘copied’ has always existed in this industry, I think the evolution of it all has grown to an alarming level. It’s a shame to support the concept of taking advantage of designers who are still trying to develop a name and solidify the image of their design aesthetic.”
Oh, ouch. Ouch. Ouch. Of course, Lindsay‘s spokesperson says this is all rubbish and any similarities are “purely coincidental.”
