In “It Runs in The Family” starred both the father and the son along with the grandfather Kirk Douglas.
As reports by People magazine: Douglas told a Federal judge that he had became involved in drug dealing after 2006.
“I began supplying on a regular basis,”
The judge ask if Douglas knew what he was doing was wrong.
Douglas replied, “Yes, your honor.”
Douglas also pleaded guilty to heroin possession – a charge that resulted from his girlfriend’s allegedly smuggling the narcotic to him in a toothbrush while he was under house arrest on the other drug charge.
Cameron Douglas, a DJ and actor with a history of drug abuse was caught in a federal drug investigation last July. After spending six months in a federal prison, Douglas pled guilty yesterday as part of a plea agreement –no details of which were not disclosed.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 27.
His dad Micahel Douglas also acknowledged his own substance abuse.
“Alcohol was an issue in my life at one point,” “A brother died from an overdose a few years ago. Just about any family has someone for whom substance abuse is an issue.”
Substance abuse is very scary.

Looks like Cameron Douglas is turning rat. That means he’ll be welcome at a Federal Bureau of Prisons camp like the one at Schuylkill FCI where big time financial scammer Joe Nacchio is doing his six years partying 24/7. In fact, given that Cameron Douglas’ case is out of New York city that makes the Federal prison camp at Schuylkill FCI a likely destination.
