Katy Perry and Russell Brand are engaged. According to source close to the pair, Russell got down on one knee and proposed to Katy while the two vacationed in India over Christmas and New Years. Of course, Katy “happily accepted.” This news is quite unexpected seeing as the pair have only been dating since the fall.

Lindsay Lohan was robbed by one of her best friends, Patrick “Pootie” Aufdenkamp. “Pootie” was one of Michael Lohan‘s targeted “bad influences” when he ignited his “save Lindsay‘s life” campaign last year. Lindsay, Ali and “Pootie” (that nickname is really going to grate on me) all vacationed in St. Bart’s for New Years, and LiLo is now saying he stole some of her fashion sketches.
