Robert Pattinson is rumored to be the next Spiderman. Spiderman 4 with Tobey McGuire was just canned, so they are making way for a younger, hotter actor to take over. Is Robert going to get the call?

It seems like the Twilight franchise would have Robert locked up for a long time. Maybe not. Can you see Spiderman with an English accent? From Glamour:
Tobey and the film’s director Sam Raimi announced that they were leaving the project yesterday after disagreements over the script, and now the British actor, along with Juno’s Michael Cera, are thought to be in talks with Sony Pictures. Film bosses plan to reschedule the film for 2012 and concentrate on Peter Parker’s time at high school.
Do you think this is fact or fiction for Robert? If he lands the Spiderman franchise, he will be a very busy man for a lot of years!
