The Queen has made it clear to William that she wants him to have a princess by his side when she celebrates her Diamond Jubilee — 60 years on the throne — in 2012,” a royal insider tells me.
“The Queen is planning six months of celebrations leading up to the February anniversary of her coronation for herself and will not be upstaged by a royal wedding. This is her time to shine, no one else’s.”
Meow! I guess the queen is allowed to hold a diva attitude, even when it comes to her family members. She knows a wedding between William and Kate would be wildly popular!
